How Does washingoal.com Work?
Washingoal claims to sell top quality products at very affordable rates on their online store, but should you trust them? In the course of our research, we noticed that the affordability of their products serves as bait to attract unsuspecting buyers. This is common among scam online stores.
Washingoal.com uses a very neat and well-designed website layout, giving it a convincing feel. But this should not deceive you into believing Washingoal.com is legit because most of these scam online stores go the extra mile to appear trustworthy.

What We Found About washingoal.com!
Following the coronavirus outbreak, people have, due to the lockdown in cities, resorted to online stores for most things they need to buy. Fraudsters have taken to this opportunity to open up fraudulent websites where they steal money from unsuspecting buyers. We have taken the responsibility to carry out reviews on sites like Washingoal and expose their fraudulent schemes.
From reports found on the internet, no positive reviews have been made on washingoal.com. Usually, authentic positive reviews are a sign that an online store is reliable. Washingoal.com, after passing through a series of tests, shows it is less than six months old and, therefore, should not be trusted.
Their website uses https security – this means that information like passwords and credit card numbers, when sent to their site, is kept private. But this is not an assurance that the people behind the platform won’t tamper with your details.
The other things which we found out about Washingoal which made us believe washingoal.com is a fake online store are:
Reachability
- They have no social media presence. Trustworthy stores use social media as a means to advertise their wares and also connect to their customers. They even listen to and resolve customers’ complaints through their social media handles.
- The contact information provided on their website is unreliable: they have two unrelated emails and addresses on their website.
- Due to the anonymity of the owners of the store, there is zero accountability, and no one to charge should you be scammed. The absence of a real face to account for the operations of the store is a big red flag.
Reviews
- The products sampled on washingoal.com are without customer reviews, which is a bad sign. Reliable online stores like Amazon usually carry mixed customer reviews, both positive and negative, on the products sampled on their store.
- When we scanned their site on ScamDoc (a website analysis platform), it returned a very bad trust score of 1%. This means that their site can’t be trusted because no identifying information of the owner is tied to the domain name. And since their creation date is very recent, there is no past timeline through which we can measure their authenticity.
Content
- The contents used on their webpages were copied from other sources, as we have, times without number, encountered the use of same contents in other fraudulent online stores.
Tracker
- There is no reliable tracking system available on their website to monitor the progress of the ordered products.
Verdict!
Washingoal.com, like Amkerosene, is an untrustworthy online store, and, therefore, not recommended for use. If you shop from them, you stand the risk of losing your money but getting no product in return. Protect yourself from swindlers.
There are many untrustworthy online stores on the internet promising to sell top-notch products but at heavily discounted rates.
It is common to come across these e-commerce stores offering good looking products at appetizing prices. But, in the end, such stores usually turn out to be fraudulent.
Most people attracted by these “too good to be true” prices from these online stores have bought goods of their liking but received something different from what they had ordered, and of poor quality.
Worse, some have placed orders with full payment yet received nothing but silence from the online vendors. You do not have to become one of them to learn from their experience.
It is unfair to fall victim to these fraudsters and lose the money you earned from honest work. Fact-checking should be a priority before you buy anything from an online vendor.
If you’ve shopped from this store, or attempted to do so, kindly share your experience with us in the comment section.
Definitely scam. I placed an order, paid via Paypal. Payment was processed but no contact from the company…no shipping, no notification, not even a confirmation of the order I had placed. Raised a dispute with Paypal as soon as I discovered reviews on sites like this one. Refund was processed the very next day. Payment through Paypal was for Cozyzon Company Limited….check our their reviews!
Same situation here. I ordered one Dumpster ornament through FB and Paypal processed payment. Wierd emails started coming right away (Example:

String of evasive and vague emails have followed after I sent my request for an update. No tracking number and it’s been 5-6 weeks since I placed the order. I also received the email saying it was too late to cancel my order. Contacted Paypal today to start my claim.
Sadly I also am a victim. I bought 6 ornaments, all different colours and instead I got all one colour, all broken, and one colour was more money than the others! The kept in communication just enough for me to not longer be eligible for a refund form PayPal.
Washingoal (which also calls itself Washing Goal and Shelby Brothers, Inc.) advertised Christmas products extensively this winter. I ordered a couple of items, but it soon became clear that they had no ability or intention to deliver any items in time for Christmas, even as they continued to constantly advertise for more Christmas orders. Their products were not on hand, but were in fact made to order, and then literally shipped on the slow boat from China. But wait, there’s more. They weren’t actually in the mail when they left China. They then spent a week or two at a DHL sorting facility before being turned over to the post office for delivery. My Christmas order finally arrived today, January 9th. The products lacked the required button batteries to operate the lights (a type of battery most people will not have on hand). The products (2020 flickering dumpster fire ornaments) did not match the photos, and once batteries were installed, the lights did not flicker. So, this company does exist, and does send products, but they are deceptive in both marketing and quality.
The same thing happened to me. I just got mine yesterday and I ordered it on Black Friday. Looks nothing like what I ordered, and has all the same issues you have with yours.
Exactly the same experience. Mine was also definitely not as pictured, but also broken. I’ve got a pretty valid claim going on Paypal right now. Wish I could report them to Facebook as a scam, but these companies switch names so no one can catch up with them.
Exact same thing that happened to me. I ordered 12/1 and received 1/23, different then the photos, no batteries and broken to boot. I emailed support requesting a refund and they emailed back offering a 20% discount on my next order. Today I took it to paypal, hopefully I’ll get my money back from them.
Hi I ordered a pretty wind chime off washing goal before Christmas and have recieved the same emails from “Alex” talking about delays in shipping, hard global times, take advantage of the discounts etc”. It’s been a month and nothing, no real tracking details, just a promise the details will come through in a few days, always a few more days.
Yes I ordered my wind chime December 1st & today March 12 have not received anything but emails there is a delay & they will check into it.
I ordered what appeared to be a big, beautiful “Colorful Wind Spinner” $ 59.99. Confirmed order from Washing Goal on 12/13/20. Same response to my queries as yours. nothing in between. I’ll be contacting PayPal for a refund tomorrow.
Can confirm, I got my product 2 months late and it was not as advertised, not really even close. They are a scam
Definitely a scam. I ordered a Christmas ornament from them and never got a shipping notice. I asked to cancel the order and they said it was already at the shippers and they couldn’t do anything about it. Item arrived on January 15 and was broken. They didn’t really want to take any responsibility and claimed it was broken in shipping, but the broken piece did not show up in the box – obviously the product was defective. I took it up with PayPal and they offered me about 1/2 the price and a 30% off code. Since the item arrived late, it was not as pictured and it was broken I refused. Then they offered to refund the whole price if I’d ship it back. They neglected to give me the shipping address, so it was reopened as a claim so I could find out. Turns out it is in Hong Kong. But then they offered me 1/4 of the value of the item. I turned them down and am still waiting to hear PayPal’s judgement. I wish there were a way these outfits could be reported to Facebook, but I could not find a way to do so. I think Washingoal is part of a larger umbrella from another company which is based in China, and they can pop up and then disappear without anyone figuring out what they truly are.
I got scammed by Washingoal! They took my money and would send me emails saying “your item is on its way” “ you will get a tracking number “ and so on and so on. It’s all false!!! I called my bank and filed a dispute . Don’t ever EVER buy anything from this so called company by the name of coZyzon
I ordered 2 wind spinners from WashinGoal Dec. 2020. I just received (May 2, 2021) the first one and it’s half the size of what I ordered and a totally different one plus it’s poor quality. I emailed customer service & they requested a photo of what I received. At first they offered me a 30% discount. I said that is not enough & I said to send a return label as I didn’t want it & I wasn’t paying for it. Then they offered me a 50% discount. Before I could reply I received the second wind spinner today (May 5, 2021) & it’s an exact duplicate of the first one. I let customer service know & now they want a photo of both spinners I received. I’ve had it with them. I’m calling Visa tomorrow to stop payment to them.
