How Does mudryhog.com Work?

Mudryhog claims to sell top quality products at believable rates on their online store, but should you trust them?

Fraudulent stores are known for baiting prospective buyers with cheap prices; however, some of them go the other route: they use normal rates so as to appear trustworthy.

Nonetheless, those who eventually fall for it and go on to make orders would end up getting scammed; they’d either receive products of inferior quality, or nothing at all.

Also, mudryhog.com uses a convincing website layout, giving it a trustworthy outlook. But this should not deceive you into believing Mudryhog is legit because most of these scam online stores go the extra mile to appear trustworthy.

Mudryhog accepts payments made through PayPal.

What We Found About mudryhog.com!

One of the advantages of the internet age is the ease with which we do things. One could, by clicking a few links on a laptop or a smartphone, purchase items from the comfort of their homes. But its down side is this: because the sellers are invisible, they could easily be scammers.

We have taken the responsibility to carry out reviews on sites like Mudryhog and expose their fraudulent schemes.

One of the things we noticed about Mudryhog is that no positive reviews have been made about them – not on social media, not on review sites. Usually, authentic positive reviews are a sign that an online store is reliable.

Also, the domain name mudryhog.com is less than six months old and, therefore, should not be trusted. And since their creation date is very recent, there is no past timeline through which we can measure their authenticity. Apart from being recent, the domain has a hosting plan lasting for one year. Even Google warns that websites with a short life span are most likely scam.

Their website uses https security – this means that information like passwords and credit card numbers, when sent to their site, is kept private. But this is not an assurance that the people behind the platform won’t tamper with your details.

The other things we found out about Mudryhog that made us believe mudryhog.com is a fake online store are:

Reachability

They have no social media presence. Trustworthy stores use social media as a means to advertise their wares and also connect to their customers. They even listen to and resolve customers’ complaints through their social media handles. Most scam stores refrain from having social media accounts because a victim of their fraud can easily tag and expose them there, warning away other prospective buyers.

The contact information provided on their website is not reliable: customers complained of receiving no response.

Due to the anonymity of the owners of the store, there is zero accountability, and no one to charge should you be scammed. The absence of a real face to account for the operations of the store is a big red flag.

Reviews

The products sampled on mudryhog.com are without customer reviews, which is a bad sign. Reliable online stores like Amazon usually carry mixed customer reviews, both positive and negative, on the products sampled on their store.

When we scanned their site on ScamDoc (a website analysis platform), it returned a very bad trust score of 2%. This means that their site can’t be trusted because no identifying information of the owner is tied to the domain name.

Content

The contents used on their webpages were copied from other sources, as we have, times without number, encountered the use of same contents in other fraudulent online stores.

Tracker

There is no reliable tracking system available on their website to monitor the progress of the ordered products.

A dissatisfied customer wrote this:

“Scam site that will send a “dummy” item to an address other than yours with the same zip code as yours. When you don’t get the item and try to dispute this with Paypal they’ll ultimately side with the seller because the package was marked as delivered. This is well known problem right now and Paypal doesn’t have a handle on it so be careful and use only trusted retailers.”

ScamDoc

Verdict!

Mudryhog.com, like Prochty, like 1beth, is an untrustworthy online store. Therefore, we do not recommend that you shop here. If you shop from them, you stand the risk of losing your money but getting no product in return.

There are many untrustworthy online stores on the internet promising to sell top-notch products but at heavily discounted rates.

It is common to come across these e-commerce stores offering good looking products at appetizing prices. But, in the end, such stores usually turn out to be fraudulent.

Most people attracted by these “too good to be true” prices from these online stores have bought goods of their liking but received something different from what they had ordered, and of poor quality.

Worse, some have placed orders with full payment yet received nothing but silence from the online vendors. You do not have to become one of them to learn from their experience.

It is unfair to fall victim to these fraudsters and lose the money you earned from honest work. Fact-checking should be a priority before you buy anything from an online vendor.

If you’ve shopped from this store, or attempted to do so, kindly share your experience with us in the comment section.

  1. I also had an issue with mudryhog. I also filed a complaint through PayPal. I also was denied. I called an actual PayPal representative and spoke to them. They had me call FedEx, while on the phone with them. FedEx confirmed that it was not delivered to my address. I was able to win the dispute after that. Don’t give up!

  2. This is a scam website. I ordered a product and have not received any confirmation, tracking number, nor any communication from them, but they already charged my credit card right away. I sent a message through their website, no response. I sent an email, no response. I am talking to my credit card company to dispute this charge.

  3. Going through this the past two weeks. Story fails to tell you MudryHog bviously figured out how to hack FedEx (No Help From them) pulling shipments to someone in your town and then after the shipment has arrived of a real FedEx shipment PayPal sends you an update of tracking information to you, where MudryHog turns around and issues a doctored shipment confirmation show Chu Thi Thao as shipper and you as receiving delivery, so PayPal tells your bank you are a liar and should pay up; so you loose challenging PayPal and seller of non-receipt. Report this to Tips.FBI.Gov, and your local police, get a police report amd send ASAP to PayPal and your bank and pray you win!
