Mercuryo.co.com’s design is at best average. It is riddled with questionable design choices and outright bad ones too.  This broker claims that it uses the MT4 trading platform. They use the platform to offer assets such as Forex (with leverages up to 1:400) CFDs, Indices, Stocks, and Precious metals.

The leverage it offers is quite High. While a high leverage is not bad thing on its own, it can be very risky especially for inexperienced traders, as it can lead to big losses. The US regulatory body puts the leverage cap at 1:50 for non-professional traders, while EU Licensed brokers are at 1:30.

Mercuryo Forex Account Types

In this portion of the review, we aim to explore the account types a broker might have. We check the account with its corresponding deposit and leverage. Doing this gives a clearer idea as to how a broker might work.

After thoroughly checking we discovered that this broker has six account types

Mercuryo Deposit and Withdrawal Methods

Deposit and withdrawals are the two most important transactions for us, because the end goal of trading is making a profit. In this section, we look at these methods to make sure everything is okay with it.

According to the website this broker cites its deposit methods as Visa, Mastercard, Wire transfer or Skrill.

One thing to keep in mind is that there might also be withdrawal conditions concerning accounts that take advantage of the bonus promotion. Some fraudulent brokers stipulate that a trader must achieve a certain trading volume in order to be eligible for withdrawal. This is purposefully done in order to stop traders from making a withdrawalMercuryo. Licensed?

Licensing is another important part, because a regulated broker can be trusted to some extent not to do anything fraudulent. We do this part of the review by first checking the name of the company attached to the broker. Then we run that name through various regulatory bodies to discover if it is actually regulated.

In the website footer we find the information that Mercuryo Invest LTD is regulated and authorized by the UK jurisdiction SIC 66110 (Administration of financial markets) and 66300 (Fund management activities) under certificate number 12332874.

After checking the listed body, we couldn’t find any information on this broker being licensed.

Traders should always ascertain if a broker is licensed before investing in them. They should check regulatory bodies such as the FCA in UK, ASIC in Australia, CySEC in Cyprus, BaFin in Germany, CONSOB in Italy and many others.

Mercuryo is scam.I deposited at first 5500 and then an other 18000€ with the “help” of John Graham who told me that I will have big profits and it happened. He didn’t tell me that I had to deposit extra money for paying the taxes of the profits in order to make a withdrawal. So now it’s impossible for me to withdraw any money from my account.Everyrhing was a lie .I lost my money because I trusted these people.Be careful
