How Does homestyleon.com Work?

Homestyleon claims to sell top quality products at very affordable rates on their online store, but should you trust them?

They offer 20% discount off orders over $119.

However, using enticing deals to bait unsuspecting buyers is common among scam online stores. Those who eventually fall for it and go on to make orders end up getting scammed; they either receive products of inferior quality, or nothing at all.

Also, homestyleon.com uses a convincing website layout, giving it a trustworthy outlook. But this should not deceive you into believing Homestyleon is legit because most of these scam online stores go the extra mile to appear trustworthy.

Homestyleon accepts payments made through credit/debit cards and PayPal.

What We Found About homestyleon.com!

One of the advantages of the internet age is the ease with which we do things. One could, by clicking a few links on a laptop or a smartphone, purchase items from the comfort of their homes. But its down side is this: because the sellers are invisible, they could easily be scammers.

We have taken the responsibility to carry out reviews on sites like Homestyleon and expose their fraudulent schemes.

One of the things we noticed about Homestyleon is that no positive reviews have been made about them – not on social media, not on review sites. Usually, authentic positive reviews are a sign that an online store is reliable.

Also, the domain name homestyleon.com is less than six months old and, therefore, should not be trusted. And since their creation date is very recent, there is no past timeline through which we can measure their authenticity. Apart from being recent, the domain has a hosting plan lasting for one year. Even Google warns that websites with a short life span are most likely scam.

Their website uses https security – this means that information like passwords and credit card numbers, when sent to their site, is kept private. But this is not an assurance that the people behind the platform won’t tamper with your details.

The other things which we found out about Homestyleon which made us believe homestyleon.com is a fake online store are:

Reachability

They have no social media presence. Trustworthy stores use social media as a means to advertise their wares and also connect to their customers. They even listen to and resolve customers’ complaints through their social media handles. Most scam stores refrain from having social media accounts because a victim of their fraud can easily tag and expose them there, warning away other prospective buyers.

The contact information provided on their website is not reliable. The office address on their contact page belongs to a different established named The Marquesa.

Due to the anonymity of the owners of the store, there is zero accountability, and no one to charge should you be scammed. The absence of a real face to account for the operations of the store is a big red flag.

Reviews

The products sampled on homestyleon.com are without customer reviews, which is a bad sign. Reliable online stores like Amazon usually carry mixed customer reviews, both positive and negative, on the products sampled on their store.

When we scanned their site on ScamDoc (a website analysis platform), it returned a very bad trust score of 2%. This means that their site can’t be trusted because no identifying information of the owner is tied to the domain name.

Verdict!

Homestyleon.com, like LolasFashion, is an untrustworthy online store. Therefore, we do not recommend that you shop here. If you shop from them, you stand the risk of losing your money but getting no product in return.

There are many untrustworthy online stores on the internet promising to sell top-notch products but at heavily discounted rates.

It is common to come across these e-commerce stores offering good looking products at appetizing prices. But, in the end, such stores usually turn out to be fraudulent.

Most people attracted by these “too good to be true” prices from these online stores have bought goods of their liking but received something different from what they had ordered, and of poor quality.

Worse, some have placed orders with full payment yet received nothing but silence from the online vendors. You do not have to become one of them to learn from their experience.

It is unfair to fall victim to these fraudsters and lose the money you earned from honest work. Fact-checking should be a priority before you buy anything from an online vendor.

If you’ve shopped from this store, or attempted to do so, kindly share your experience with us in the comment section.

  1. Ripoff company, bought a scroll saw June 1, 2021. They claim to ship within 1-3 days and will send an email notification. 17 days later and several emails and still nothing. Don’t trust this scam company.

    1. I also ordered a table saw on June 25, 2021. Payment received through Pay Pal; as of July 3, 2021 no response from vender as of yet.

  2. I have been scammed. I ordered the product but received no confirmation of the order and no shipping information. I called the 2 phone numbers I could find that seemed to be associated with the company and they were not valid phone numbers. I sent emails to the 2 different email addresses I could find but received no reply. I immediately contacted my credit card company any reported the fraud and they are stopping payment to the company and doing some follow-up.

  3. They are a scam. When we filed a case for the item not received on PayPal, they sent a bogus USPS tracking number. USPS was able to provide documentation that showed a package was delivered to another address in the same zip code. The receipt for the product I ordered listed the weight as 4.47 pounds. The package weighed 3 ounces. So if you are not refunded your money, contact the post office about the package and they can give you a detailed report. Compare that with the weight on the receipt and the address. The USPS tracking said the package was delivered to the mailbox but it was larger than the mailbox. USPS specifies where it is delivered. They don’t mess that up.

    1. THEY ARE A SCAM! AVOID ALTOGETHER! I ordered a DeWalt Table Saw on July 9th, 2021. As others have said, the price was too good to be true, but the website looked legit so I ordered it. Got no delivery. I got hold of PayPal to dispute. They looked into it and contacted HomeStyleOn. HomeStyleOn promptly sent PayPal a “delivery” notice on PayPal’s own header, and promptly denied my claim. Now, I ask you who ever heard of a delivery notice of the USPS, UPS, or FEDEX on PayPal’s header? Those always come via the carrier’s own header and notice. Yet, PayPal fell for it and denied my claim. I am out $159.60. I am re-submitting a claim. BTW, this saw would have been at least 65lbs and in a box 3ftx3ftx3ft, and yet the delivery notice said it was delivered to my mailbox. The scary piece of this is they somehow forged a USPS tracking number to my house!
