What We Found about gemstore.site!

Following the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, COVID-19, disinfectants like sanitiser and hand wash have been in high demand. This has led to the internet seeing a burst of so many fraudulent online stores claiming to be selling such items, and, in the process, these stores have been stealing money from unsuspecting buyers. And we are glad to uncover sites like Gemstore in our reviews.

Many customers who bought from Gemstore complained about not receiving their orders after making payments. Their website, gemstore.site, after passing through a series of tests, shows it is less than six months old and therefore should not be trusted. The contents used on their webpages were copied from other sources, as we have frequently encountered the same contents in other fraudulent online stores. The other things we found out about Gemstore which made us believe gemstore.site is a fake online store are:

  • The products sampled on gemstore.site are without customer reviews which is a bad sign.
  • There is no tracking system available on their website to monitor the progress of the ordered products.
  • Gemstore.site has no security system to protect customers’ private details, therefore their details stand the risk of exposure.
  • We found no information on the company or the people behind Gemstore.
  • The owner of the domain name, gemstore.site, is hidden because fraudsters fear to show their faces.
  • They have no social media accounts in this age where all valid businesses have a social media handle.

Verdict!

Gemstore.site is an untrustworthy online store, like Shopyzaz, Scarfiv, Matastore, Theparisqueen, Fashinning, and therefore not recommended for use. They may be after your card details which they can use to hack into your bank account and steal from you. If you buy from them, you stand the risk of losing your money but getting no product in return. Protect yourself from swindlers.

There are many untrustworthy online stores on the internet promising to sell top-notch products but at heavily discounted rates. It is common to come across these e-commerce stores offering good looking products at appetizing prices. And in the end, such stores usually turn out to be fraudulent. Most people attracted by these “too good to be true” prices from these online stores have bought goods of their liking but received something different from what they had ordered, and of poor quality. Worse, some have placed orders with full payment yet received nothing but silence from the online vendors. You do not have to become one of them to learn from their experience. It is unfair to fall victim to these fraudsters and lose the money you earned from honest work. Fact-checking should be a priority before you buy anything from an online vendor.

  1. 828-297-8599 is supposed to be the phone number for the Gem Store that is supposed to be in North Carolina but is actually located in Hong Kong. They offer items like Clorox Wipes, soaps and about 150 items on 13-pages. You can not get through calling this number and will not receive what you order. PayPal is being uncooperative about stopping payments to them. Instead of your payment going to the Gem Store it goes to the Hefei Yilai Trade Co., Ltd in Hong Kong 张群星Payment. There is no known person or company at this phone number or address

    1. I have ordered through GemStore as well. I have tried calling the 828 number and says my call can’t be completed and to check my manual. I have sent 2 emails to the Company. No response. Also, There is no tracking your package. I have asked PayPal to help me get my money back they are not being cooperative.

      1. Sandra,How do you pay Paypal? If you use a credit card call your CC company. They WILL help you. I hope you didn’t spend too much. They got me for $28.

  2. Don’t order from this bogus site. I wish I had read this site before purchasing. Total scam. eBay is giving me the runaround and they keep extending the resolution date on my case. Contact # isn’t working.

  3. Gemstone is indeed fraudulent. I placed an order, month later I received nothing(gave extra time due to Covid). Tried to contact but phone# is disconnected. I’m filing dispute. I think I’ve protected my credit card by using PayPal to pay for order. The things said here are VERY TRUE

    1. I lost money to Gemstone also. I paid through paypal and I never received anything and couldn’t contact them. About a week after I placed the order I received an email from paypal starting someone opened an account on my name and all my purchase history just dissapeared. And of course Paypal was no help. Now I’m afraid to use paypal

  4. On April 26, 2020 I ordered $69.89 worth of merchandise from the Gem Store at http://Gemstore.site that was supposed to be located at 4 Veterans Dr. in Asheville, NC. After receiving an email from PayPal that my money went to the Hefei Yilai Trade Co., Ltd in Hong Kong 张群星 instead of NC, I discovered that there is no such address (4 Veterans Dr) in Asheville, NC or anyone answering the phone or emails so I called PayPal and explained everything to them, but they refused to stop my payment. I also mentioned that I ordered Clorox wipes and hand lotions, but was billed for clothing. Even this didn’t make a difference to PayPal.
With PayPal refusing to cooperate, I contacted American Express and today, 7/1/2020, received my refund of $69.89 from them.
