How Does dblover.com Work?

Dblover claims to sell top quality products at very affordable rates on their online store, but should you trust them?

For instance, they offer to sell a crossbag allegedly worth $189.99 for $19.99. They’ve also generously slashed prices off the products on their store, selling the items for prices that are too good to be ignored.

However, using cheap deals to bait unsuspecting buyers is common among scam online stores. Those who eventually fall for it and go on to make orders end up getting scammed; they either receive products of inferior quality, or nothing at all.

Also, dblover.com uses a convincing website layout, giving it a trustworthy outlook. But this should not deceive you into believing Dblover is legit because most of these scam online stores go the extra mile to appear trustworthy.

Dblover accepts payments made through credit/debit cards and PayPal.

What We Found About dblover.com!

One of the advantages of the internet age is the ease with which we do things. One could, by clicking a few links on a laptop or a smartphone, purchase items from the comfort of their homes. But its down side is this: because the sellers are invisible, they could easily be scammers.

We have taken the responsibility to carry out reviews on sites like Dblover and expose their fraudulent schemes.

One of the things we noticed about Dblover is that no positive reviews have been made about them – not on social media, not on review sites. Usually, authentic positive reviews are a sign that an online store is reliable.

Also, the domain name dblover.com is less than six months old and, therefore, should not be trusted. And since their creation date is very recent, there is no past timeline through which we can measure their authenticity. Apart from being recent, the domain has a hosting plan lasting for one year. Even Google warns that websites with a short life span are most likely scam.

Their website uses https security – this means that information like passwords and credit card numbers, when sent to their site, is kept private. But this is not an assurance that the people behind the platform won’t tamper with your details.

The other things which we found out about Dblover which made us believe dblover.com is a fake online store are:

Reachability

They have no social media presence. Trustworthy stores use social media as a means to advertise their wares and also connect to their customers. They even listen to and resolve customers’ complaints through their social media handles. Most scam stores refrain from having social media accounts because a victim of their fraud can easily tag and expose them there, warning away other prospective buyers.

The contact information provided on their website is not reliable: customers complained of receiving no response. Their email address is not responsive. They have no phone number and no return address.

Due to the anonymity of the owners of the store, there is zero accountability, and no one to charge should you be scammed. The absence of a real face to account for the operations of the store is a big red flag.

Reviews

The products sampled on dblover.com are without customer reviews, which is a bad sign. Reliable online stores like Amazon usually carry mixed customer reviews, both positive and negative, on the products sampled on their store.

When we scanned their site on ScamDoc (a website analysis platform), it returned a very bad trust score of 2%. This means that their site can’t be trusted because no identifying information of the owner is tied to the domain name.

Verdict!

Dblover.com, like Prochty, like 1beth, is an untrustworthy online store. Therefore, we do not recommend that you shop here. If you shop from them, you stand the risk of losing your money but getting no product in return.

There are many untrustworthy online stores on the internet promising to sell top-notch products but at heavily discounted rates.

It is common to come across these e-commerce stores offering good looking products at appetizing prices. But, in the end, such stores usually turn out to be fraudulent.

Most people attracted by these “too good to be true” prices from these online stores have bought goods of their liking but received something different from what they had ordered, and of poor quality.

Worse, some have placed orders with full payment yet received nothing but silence from the online vendors. You do not have to become one of them to learn from their experience.

It is unfair to fall victim to these fraudsters and lose the money you earned from honest work. Fact-checking should be a priority before you buy anything from an online vendor.

If you’ve shopped from this store, or attempted to do so, kindly share your experience with us in the comment section.

  1. Wish I’d seen this before buying. I went through PayPal does that mean they can get into my PayPal

  2. I also made an online purchase. The payment was made with my Visa debit card linked to my checking account. I immediately felt something was off when I received an email notification for payment. Payment shows being made to a personal email via PayPal. I contacted my credit union and was told
I need to allow the payment to clear, then contact Visa to dispute the charges for fraud to get a refund. Lesson learned!

  3. I paid with PayPal as well. Can they refund me the cost of the bag and shipping? Honestly, it’s not even worth shipping it back! All the zippers split, the handles and trim are plastic, not vinyl and the hardware is cheap!
    Thanks!

  4. I bought a bag from dblover.com through PayPal. It was a cheap knock-off with ink stains on it. They offered me a 20% refund and would refund the rest if I paid to ship it back to them in China. I filed a dispute with PayPal and also notified Dooney & Bourke, sending them photos as well. Still waiting to hear back from PayPal.
