How does camelake.com work?

Camelake claims to sell home decors and other items with attractive discount rates on their online store. Their discount rates are over 50% and therefore suspicious. They use a commonly used theme and website layout which we have found in use by other scam online stores. They accept payments made through PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, and AmericanExpress. They claim to be owned and operated by Guaglin Hao but that is not reliable as search results on the name returned nothing associated to Camelake.

What we found about camelake.com!

Their website, camelake.com, after passing through series of tests, shows it is less than six months old and is a short life expectancy domain. The other things we found out about them which made us believe Camelake is a fake online store are:
• There are no customer reviews on their products.
• Their customer support service is inactive.
• No information was found on the company or the people behind Camelake.
• They have no card security system to protect customer’s card details.
• There is no tracking option set in place for goods that have been ordered from camelake.com.
• They have no social media presence in this age where all legit online stores have accounts on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
• Their contact information is fake.
• The address they provided was traced to a residential farm area and had nothing to do with a company or a store.

Verdict: What we think about camelake.com

Camelake is a scam online store and therefore not recommended for use. A customer who bought from them complained about not receiving what he bought after he had paid. Even when he filed for complaint they didn’t respond. If you buy from them they will take your money and give you nothing in return.

It is common to come across so many e-commerce stores offering good looking products at appetizing prices. And in the end, such stores usually turn out to be fraudulent. Most people attracted by these “too good to be true” prices from the online stores have bought goods of their liking but received something different from what they had ordered, and of poor quality. Worse, some have placed orders with full payment yet received nothing but silence from the online vendors. You do not have to become one of them to learn from their experience. Fact checking should be a priority before you buy anything from an online vendor.
