Evri: We tried to deliver your parcel GBR079LP49RQ today but no one was home. Please visit: https://evri-track-id16.web.app to rearrange delivery now.
But this is a scam text we have seen countless times, and we know how it works.
How It Works
The Evri shipping scam text informs the reader that their delivery was missed. A link is then provided where the person can rearrange for delivery. Their aim is to pretend they want to help you to resolve the problem, but don’t be deceived; these people are scammers.
In the course of clicking that link, you will be asked to pay a fee, and you will input your credit card details into their system, handing them the information they need to steal money from your card. Doing this will be giving up your credit card information to thieves.

When you receive such messages and want to be sure it is not scam, do the following:
- send the delivery company an email to confirm the authenticity of the text
- if the company says the message is not from them, delete the message immediately
- do not, out of curiosity, click the link or call that number to see where it leads
